KATR was founded Minnesota in 1997 as a custom software tool and website design business. Until recently, KATR activities were primarly at a small client level and remained relatively low profile. KATR remains a small, privately held software development firm specializing in the following areas: Web applications and architecture, Web hosting, Web data capture, iPhone / iPod touch application development, Microsoft ® Windows ® utility applications, Linux utilities, etc.
KATR is prounounced “cater” as in “food cater” or “catering“. One of the definitions of “cater” is “to supply what is required or desired”. That’s exactly what KATR is! KATR is a corporation who’s goal is to provide low cost solutions in the form of general and custom software or web applications.
The purpose of this blog is to help YOU break free from the rat race based on the travels and experiences of the KATR staff. Needless to say, they offer a significant depth and variety of views. Keep watching, you never know what may turn up.
