The short version: Breath Forge stores your breathing sessions and breath holds on your device. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere. The app requests no internet access at all. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking.
Breath Forge does not require an account and does not collect, transmit, or have access to the sessions and holds you record. Everything is stored in the app's private storage on your device. We (the developer) never see this data, because the app has no network permission and cannot send it anywhere.
You can delete all sessions and holds at any time from History → menu → Clear all history.
If you have Android's backup turned on, Android may copy the app's data to your Google account and restore it on a new phone. That is done by Android under your own device and Google account settings, not by Breath Forge, and is covered by Google's privacy policy. You can switch it off in your phone's system settings.
Breath Forge is free. The optional Pro is a one-time purchase made through Google Play, which handles the payment and your payment details under its own privacy policy; Breath Forge never sees them. After you buy, Google Play tells the app that Pro is owned, and the app stores that fact on your device so Pro keeps working offline. We receive no information about your purchase.
With Pro you can export your history to spreadsheet (CSV) files and save a backup file. These are made on your phone and handed to Android's share sheet or file picker; you choose where they go, and Breath Forge never sends them anywhere. A backup or spreadsheet contains your sessions, holds and any notes you wrote, so keep it somewhere you trust.
The Tell a friend menu item opens Android's share sheet with a fixed message and links to this website and the Google Play page. It never contains your sessions or holds. Sharing is always your own action; Breath Forge never sends anything on its own.
Breath Forge does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts or location, has no internet permission, and contains no advertising or analytics software. Links on the About screen open in your browser; Breath Forge does not connect to those sites itself.
Breath Forge is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age — the app simply does not collect data in the first place.
If this policy changes, this page will be updated with a new effective date.
