Breath Forge Terms of Use

The short version: Breath Forge is a timer and a log, not medical advice. Use it at your own risk, take care with breath holds, and check with a doctor if you have any medical concern.

Using Breath Forge

These terms apply to the Breath Forge app and this website. By using the app you agree to them; if you don't agree, please don't use it. KATR Software gives you a personal, non-exclusive license to use the app on your devices. Breath Forge is not directed at children under 13.

Health and safety

Breath Forge is a timer and a record keeper. It is not medical advice, it does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it makes no health claims. Breathing exercises and breath holds can cause light-headedness or fainting.

Never practice breath holds or deep, repeated breathing in or near water, in a bath, while swimming, while driving or operating machinery, or anywhere fainting could cause injury.
Sit or lie down somewhere safe, and do not practice alone if you have any concern.
Stop at the first sign of dizziness, discomfort or distress.
If you are pregnant or have a heart, lung, blood-pressure, seizure or other medical condition, or you are unsure, ask a doctor first.

You use the app and any pattern in it at your own risk.

Breath Forge Pro

Breath Forge is free to use. Pro is an optional one-time purchase made through Google Play, with no subscription. Payment, refunds and receipts are governed by Google Play's terms. The features included in Pro are described on the Free vs Pro page and may be extended over time. Your own data is never held back, with or without Pro.

Your data

The sessions and holds you record belong to you and are stored on your device. See the Privacy Policy.

What you may not do

Don't copy, reverse engineer or resell the app, and don't use it for anything unlawful.

No warranty and limits on liability

Breath Forge is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, KATR Software is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from your use of the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
