Stowed

Stowed Terms of Use

Published October 15, 2026

These terms cover your use of Stowed ("the app"). They are identified by the date they were published. By tapping "I agree" you accept them. By using the app you affirm that you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. A record-keeping tool

Stowed is a tool for keeping your own inventory and notes. Everything in it is what you, or someone who shared a file with you, wrote. The developer does not review or verify it.

2. Your data and backups

Your entries and photos are stored only on your device. If your phone is lost or reset, or the app is uninstalled, your data is gone unless you made a backup. You are responsible for making and keeping backups. A lock or passphrase protects your data only as long as you remember it, and the developer cannot recover a forgotten PIN, password or passphrase.

Automatic backups, if you turn them on, are saved to a folder you choose, protected with a password you set. Keep that password: you need it to restore on another phone, and the developer cannot recover it.

3. Stowed Pro and purchases

Stowed Pro is an optional one-time purchase made through Google Play and tied to your Google account. Google Play handles payment, receipts, refunds and restoring a purchase on a new phone, under its own terms. The developer never receives your payment details. Pro unlocks the extra reports and automatic backups described in the app at the time you buy. The app may be improved or changed over time. Everything you have entered stays yours, and stays readable, backed up and exportable, whether or not you have Pro.

4. Shared files

Files you receive from others may contain anything. Review imported content before relying on it. Content you share is shared at your choice and under your responsibility.

5. No warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. The developer is not liable for losses or damages arising from use of the app, including lost data or an uninsured loss, to the extent the law allows.

6. Changes

These terms may be updated. When they change, the app will ask you to read and accept the new version. The published date shows when they were last changed.
