Get help with Tabata Forge
Need help, found a bug, or have a feature request? Email apps@katr.com — we read every message.
Tabata and EMOM each have a "?" help icon in their top bar explaining what the protocol is and how it's meant to be used. Every timer screen also has a "Display & sounds" section for customizing its display style and cue sounds.
For step-by-step walkthroughs with screenshots, see the How-To Guide.
Where are my workouts and history stored?
Locally on your device. Tabata Forge doesn't require an account, has no internet permission,
and nothing you enter is sent anywhere.
I accidentally edited or deleted a built-in workout — can I get it back?
Yes. Open Custom Workouts and tap the restore icon in the top bar. It adds back any missing
built-in workout without touching your own edits or workouts.
How do I reset Tabata or EMOM back to their default timing?
Tap the reset icon in that screen's top bar. This resets the timing, display style, and cue
sounds for that exercise back to their defaults.
Does the spoken motivation feature send my data anywhere?
It uses your device's on-device text-to-speech. See the
Privacy Policy for details, and it can be turned off entirely from
the gear icon on the home screen, under Settings → Motivation.
Email apps@katr.com with as much detail as you can — your device model, Android version, and steps to reproduce a bug are especially helpful.
