The short version: Use Tabata Forge at your own risk, and check with a doctor before you train. Workouts made by other people belong to them. You can pass on a creator's original workout exactly as it is, but a modified copy of someone else's workout can't be shared. KATR Software doesn't host or review workout files.
These terms apply to the Tabata Forge app and this website. By using the app you agree to them; if you don't agree, please don't use it. KATR Software gives you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the app on your devices for your own training. Tabata Forge is not directed at children under 13.
Tabata Forge is a timer, not medical or fitness advice. Always consult a physician before starting any exercise program, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort. You use the app and any workout in it at your own risk.
You keep ownership of the workouts you create. You are responsible for what is in them, including any images, audio and links, and should include only material you own or are licensed to use.
Tabata Forge can open workout files (.tfworkout) made by fitness creators and others. That content belongs
to its creator, not to KATR Software, and we do not host, distribute, review, endorse or verify it. Links in a workout
open in your browser and are covered by that site's own terms and privacy policy.
Under the Creator Terms, a creator who makes a workout file allows everyone who receives it to use it in Tabata Forge for personal, non-commercial training, and to share unmodified copies of it onward, keeping the creator's name, logo and links. In practice:
You may share workouts you made yourself, and a creator's original workout unchanged. If a workout of yours includes images or audio, you confirm that you have the right to share them, and you understand that anyone who receives the file may use it in Tabata Forge and share it onward. We can't recall copies that have already been shared. Sharing is always your own action: Tabata Forge never sends a workout anywhere on its own, and you are responsible for what you send and to whom.
If you believe a workout file infringes your rights, email apps@katr.com with what the work is, where you saw it, and how to reach you. Because we don't host creator files, we can't remove copies that people already have, but creators have agreed to remove or replace content promptly when asked, and we will look at anything on our own website or in the app that is affected.
Don't use Tabata Forge to infringe other people's rights, or to share anything unlawful, hateful, harassing or sexually explicit, or anything containing personal information about other people.
Tabata Forge is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, KATR Software is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from your use of the app or of any workout, including workouts made by other people.
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
